The Most Important Story Over the Last Week

A new Prime Minister in England announced a new tax program, very negative market reaction. The pound gets hit enormously and literally the Bank of England has to step in. And we see the the Brits back off on part of their tax packageliterally within a week or two. It just gets back to the rock and the heart place. What they did is the best of a lot of bad alternatives. But I for one was shocked. One of her provisions was to lower taxes on the top earning group. You just can't believe that she would she would choose those optics as her first act in office. Wow.
