The Importance of Migration in Africa

Only about 3.6% of the population actually moves across an international border. 96% don't move at all, and those that do mostly move within their countries. Two thirds of people are moving from north to north or south to south. But heaven says these numbers are also often misrepresented. We tend to hear much more about south to north, for example.
