What Is Mindfulness?

So what is mindfulness? What is meditation? What does your app do? Sure. I definitely think it's worth separating out mindfulness and meditation because they get confused a lot and used interchangeably. So our ability to be present free from distraction with an open, curious and kind mind. That's all it is. We remove ourselves from our everyday life for long enough. It doesn't have to be a long time. But long enough to gain familiarity and train that muscle in not being distracted. And as we train in that, in our meditation, we start to bring that back into our daily lives.
