The Importance of Lyrics That Are Naturalistic
I think that often people do gravitate towards that, even if they'd like to think that they don't. But then sometimes you can find a song with lyrics that are in total counterpoint to what's happening on screen - which is kind of an amazing trick in and of itself. Because it just infuses everything with a lot of irony. Yes. And then there's and then there's obviously so much in between. That's where I like to fall for the most part because It's more interesting if there's like maybe a vague connection between the lyrics in a more poetic or metaphorical sense but not in like a here's how you should feel.
