DeSantis is variable based on the type of primary that he runs and how easily that he is able to pivot right. Haley's also in a difficult position where she really needs to kind of engage with Trump in order to get attention. A lot of Republican voters do hold fairly traditional views about gender. And they may not see the fact that Haley is a woman as really anything.
