It's this catalog of instances throughout history and around the world, in which some well meaning bureaucrat or central planner looked at some organically grown system and said well that's irrational. Let's tear it down and build a new rational system. And so sorry that's long tangent but basically any philosophers in the audience are probably grimacing at me right now because the logical positivists are sort of widely considered by philosophers to have been discredited.
