The more layers of neural networks you have, the more sentient you are. Ai wonder if we could think of consciousness along those lines of degrees of freedom or degrees of something. My son tom is dislectic and he sees trees as defined by the context in which they exist. He has the glorious gift of dislexia. If i go into a wood and look at a tree, i gets some visual images from that tree on my retina. And those visual images are translated almost immediately into things which have nothing whatever to do with that actual tree. I suspect that i have more consciousness, and therefore more degrees of freedom ad than a mouse. Although i don't know am. It may be
