i disagree with emma about the mesogony of the play. I think that the play puts an enormous amount of pressure on, on standard mesogilist views of women and the absolutely crucial role of women in in being human. Once you start denying or excising women, then you're on your way to evil. Why do you think we get lady macduff then? What's that scene for? Ecause that seems to me a scene that is sort of pornographic in violence against women. There's no point in introducing lady Macduff as a new character in act or that's playwriting. One, o one, that's that. You don't do that.
