The Prophets Are Not Teaching the Law, Covenant of Faith

Jeremiah is dealing with a very similar situation as is Abinadi where you have wicked people being led by wicked kings. And they're using scripture to justify Abinadi such a great example because they're like, no, we actually fit Isaiah's teachings. So they're harkening to an older prophet rather than the current prophet. We sometimes superimpose our own experience in the organization of the church today on what was going on then.
