The Importance of Friends

This is the first time in this gallery that there's an exhibition of this scale devoted to a female artist of colour. I feel like it's long over due, but also I'm really proud to be part of this moment of change. The best thing is actually when you get to see your work with for your friends. There's nothing better. You often mention your accomplices. Your accomplices? Absolutely. Part of also being an accomplice is also about finding new ways to support each other. That just fills my heart with joy.
