What Happened to Adoption?
Adopting babies from other countries didn't take off until 19 55, when enabled a special act that allowed one white evangelical couple to adopt eight orphaned korean children. Couples from the us alone adopt from guatimala each year in a business worth some 200 million dollars annually. There are terrifying but unconfirmed reports of people using the chaos in haide as an opportunity to prey on children for temporarily giving up their children to be educate. Instead, they're sold to adoptif families who think they are taking an orphanoe.
