The Role of Age in the Prevalence of Functional Tick-Like Behaviors
Age seemed to be very important. The vast majority of patients with Tourette syndrome and chronic tick disorders present early in life. More than 90% before the age of 10 will have a symptom onset. And this is very different from functional tick-like behaviours where, you know, by and large patients were 12 years and older.
