People want something bad to happen because they're bored well I'll say that it's been my uh back back of the mind thought for some time that we're hoping that some thing disastrous will happen or the aliens will come so we don't have to file our income taxes. We tell stories in order to tie things together in our minds to keep track of them to do what we do as humans outside of the moment when we're eating or drinking or doing something else we tell stories and use vivid imagery.
