The Risk of Status
The risk of status is where you feel like a decision that you're making might affect what other people think about you or it might affect your identity. So our suggested resolution here is to give the move a name that's a bit more meaningful so I might say oh this is my international tryout or this is a bit of a pilot for a pivoting position. You don't have to lose yourself when you leave a position or a company but you can still stay connected to those communities where you recognize your old self in.
