I think maybe a nice way of framing it, if i can, is what we have here at the end of matthew, and really in the new testament as a whole, is a great experiment jesus is launching. Different peoples would come together and learn one another what it means to be image bearers by being in community with one another. So there's this open ended, spirit driven aspect to this, where we're supposed to discover more fully our identities in Christ. I think that's maybe the key take away for me.
