Druid

Druid is a column-oriented database and every column is stored individually. With Druid, you sort of have the ability in your results to bucket the results in some time granularity. You make an answer to columns and then populating buckets as you're scanning through those columns. Does Druid have its own query language? Yes, it does. People have built different adapters or different query layers on top of Druid's native query language.
