Is There a Benefit to 20 Grams Per Day?

For the general population and even healthy older adults, I think the 20 grams per day is adequate. If you look at the urine data during the five-day loading phase, by day three, you're getting 10 grams of creatine coming out in the urine. We certainly don't need 30 grams or 40 grams per day. There are some special populations where they've used higher doses,. Like patients with Huntington's disease, they've used more like 40 grams per daily.
