The Catholic Worker
As a young child, your family was unhoused and was living in some sort of catholic shelter. Your parents greatly benefited from the community. They were both kicked out of their homes. And so they were able to find shelter, but then also find community through the catholic worker. It was an incredible place to be a kid, to be running around. There were all these different adults, and everyone was really trying to help each otheran both of my parents had something that i really admire about them.
