The New Right and the Conservative Movement
In so many ways this new right resembles the new left. The main opponent of the new right is not actually progressivism, it's conservatism. They want to overthrow or change the conservatism that stands in their way. You know, as you often say, every new generation, we encounter barbarians again. And the conservative role should be to acculturate them into good citizens. America is failing terribly, terribly at that job.
