The Story of Shelly Woodworth - A Novel Review

Shelly beats and humiliates her daughter Tori. She makes her stuff her clothes with garbage as she's beginning puberty. It's around this time that Tori finds a Ziploc bag filled with human bones in her mother's bedroom. Ron Woodworth is by all accounts a super sweet man who really cares about other people. But his close relationship with Tori isn't lost on Shelly, who increasingly uses their bond as another means of torture.
