When were carbon monoxide detectors introduced into homes? That's a good question. I'm curious if that was the thing in the 1970s or not. Carbon monoxide having negative effects on the hemobody was discovered in 1850. The closest thing I found is that combined carbon monoxide and smoke detectors hit the market in 1996.
