I love this scene This is at the beginning of book seven when the dursleys have to move out of their house Because harry is gonna turn 17 and so the charm that's been protecting private drive is going to expire. Petunia literally can't get herself to say anything to him. Even the softest character I think we're meant to see Dudley softening here, but earlier in this scene like Dudley doesn't quite say thank you for saving him from the dementors. It speaks to this idea that reconciliation isn't necessarily part of it.
