The Importance of Customer Experience

The real holy grail is customer engagement. Engagement means that I feel value from what, you know, I'm being offered through the experience. And if I put in an effort, I get an equal amount of value back. To me, that's engagement. It's like an exponential return on your investment of time. Most banks won't proactively let you know that you might overdraft your account. They may or may not have predictive models that allow them to see that the customer is about to overdraft their account. You can give that message to a consumer for free because it's 100% automated.
