Alcabides and the Peloponnesian War

Alcabides is a figure who many Athenians thought could save them against the Spartans but you know it's a whole epic story about his his role in that failure. He was very charismatic and I think on a shield it was said that he had a lightning bolt because he believed he was Eros and Carnate or something like that.
