The Importance of Access to Data in Robotics

At the time I was closer to the robotics team at OpenAI, if the fact then the focus has been more kind of pushing the platform to your basic learning algorithms. So these tasks work a little bit further away from things that potentially can be viable when you turn a channel like YouTube into commercial value. And my belief was that to really make the robotics work, really to scale all this up, we have to do this in a commercial setting where we can deploy robots and large scale automated tasks that people actually care about.
