The great man theory of history is that individual leaders matter. And i think puttin kind of demonstrates that almost, almost better than zolenski does. We can't give times man o person of the year to a bad person, right? Ecause we can't acknowledge that bad people are influential. But you know, hitler and stalen got men of the year in eras past. You could, it's entirely possible that some other leader of russia would have made this incredibly bad miscalculation. It's not all explanatory by any stretch of imagination. Social history matters. Geography matters. All sorts of things matter. I don't don't thik any of that
