The Invasion of Cheker Slovakia

A quarter of a million soviet block troops crossed the border and marched into chehslavacia. The check army, whose leadership had been changed by dubchek months earlier, offered no resistance. Dubchek was arrested and, together with a of other leaders, transported to moscow. Within 24 hours, the soviet union had achieved the total military occupation of cheker slovakia. And within no time, the liberal changes wrought by dubChek were slowly but surely reversed. Cheke slovakia returned to its former position as a faithful ally of the sovie union.
