Do You Have a Pair Programming Interview?

If i really like the person, i'm more likely to subconsciously help them. Then again, i don't think it's the most important thing. I think people should focus on the tecnical skills first and foremost. If your technical skills are great, the social part doesn't matter. In that middle ground, it can really help you a lot.
