Steno: A Colonizer or an Anxiolytic?

Steno trophomonas has always sounded like it should have been a dinosaur and I do kind of equate it to a roach, which has been around since the dinosaurs were around. And sometimes I feel like the more we learn about that bug, the less we know. The biggest piece of advice with steno is just, you know, is it a colonizer? Is it just there for the ride? Or do we truly think it's causing some sort of clinical infection? A lot of these steno drugs get used more as an anxiolytic for us as clinicians as opposed to helping treat certain patients, supposed infections.
