There are three prostaglandins that control the uterine activity PGE1, PGE2, and PGE3. If you eat seed oils, canola oil, sunflower oil, sap flour, or any of these seed oils you jack up the production of PGE2 which means during the time that the bleeding is starting your uterus is just contracting and contracting. For anybody who's ever been in labor, this is terrible. You want to make yourself full of omega-3 rich fatty acids which promote theproduction of PGE1 and 3 but also keep at bay the production of another one called PGE2.
