Ankle Pain - What to Do if You Have Ankle Problems
Ankle exam is a physical examination of the ankle. The first step is to take off your socks and shoes, which most people don't do. Then you look for any abnormalities in the bony structures such as bruising or swelling. You then palpate over the meedle and lateral malelus before looking at the calcaneus.
