How to Get a Great Sound on Your Guitar
The song has that 50s dreamy quality to it which I find really kind of captivating and a little scary. My bandmate Matt Rowan the first time we ever played it as a band the day I finished this song, I still haven't recorded on my phone. It's the exact same solo. It's what he came up with immediately. And I felt like after I wrote really the only true verse in that song, when Matt came in with that guitar lick, I felt like he said everything I couldn't say.
