How to Balance the Risk Question
There are people in their 30s and presumably even in their 20s who start showing an elevated lipid profile. You would recommend mitigating bad blood chemistry with statins or some other drug as early as that bad blood chemistry shows up. I don't think I think it's completely imprudent to let a 30-year-old with hypertension walk around, just because their 10-year risk of something happening is non-existent. It's ridiculous not to do anything about it if you understand causality.
