How I Got Into Freelance Web Design
I'd been making websites as a hobby since high school in the late 90s. I did that for a number of years, and then I ended up getting hired at the old school that I'd gone to for design. And it was just a whole bunch of teachers that have been teaching design for 20 years that didn't have any web experience. So me and one other new teacher basically became the de facto teachers of the introduction to HTML and CSS thing. That's how I sort of got into the teaching side of things as well. But there's not a lot of resources that aren't extremely dry as in like the real documentation or there's really good MDM articles.
