How to Use Traditional Fantasy Creatures in Writing

Spencer Panger asks, what are your thoughts on using traditional fantasy creatures in writing? I don't like book trailers at all. The experience of selling me a book by showing me pictures is just foreign to me. It has to be really amazing trailer in order for it to get viral and there's no way to tell when that's going to happen. This has been writing excuses. You're out of excuses.
