Introduction

Lori Pond's daughter Ashley vanished on her way to school in Oregon City, January 2002. Two girls from the same apartment complex, the same school and even the same dance team went missing within eight weeks of one another. Police searching for suspects found no fewer than 90 sex offenders living within a mile of the complex. One possible suspect was Ashley's own biological father who had been convicted of sexually abusing her during one of her visits.
