The History of Earl Brouder

Earl browder was the general secretary of the communist party usa from 19 30 to 19 forty five. Brouder is most notable for having pushed a sort of patriotic view of communism, putting forth the slogan, communism is twentieth century americanism. Browder eventually pretty much completely capitulated to the democratic party and pushing the idea of a popular front beteen progressive forces against fashism. So it's not quite accurate to say they are browders per se, but it's rather because brouderism represents an actual instance of red patriotism being put into practice.
