The Command to Love Your Enemies
Father Gregory: The Lord is not asking us to feel good about people who do bad things. He says the best setting in which to take criticism is in a setting of love. If our enemies are against us, there's a reason for their being against us and it might be the case that we could learn helpful things from engaging with them,. But we just have to be honest with ourselves that it's hard to do so.
