The Disappointment of Reading Malcolm X

I knew next to nothing about Malcolm X and I thought he was just more of a violent version of Martin Luther King. He did not start the black Panthers but Bobby Seale and Huey Newton did. The black Panthers didn't start until 1966 which was after the death of Malcolm X. This is one of the most disturbing books I've ever read necessarily disturbing though as I as I you know in my view this is the kind of necessarily disturbing book that needs to be read yep. There's another book in in our list of 52 this year that was as disturbing and I wish I had never read it but but this one yeah we haven't yet covered that one anyway.
