I used to have really nice straight teeth. My parents paid a lot of money for that, but then I ended up getting punched into mouth too much as a teenager. Good friend of mine had his jaw broken in a face choke because he didn't want to tap. It's cheap enough to get a good mouthguard and the expenses can be so much more full-on.
