What Will It Take to Stop Global Warming?
The fundamental physics of what drives changes in global temperature is actually very simple we can capture it with just this simple equation. What will it take to stop global warming? We're kind of stuck with that being positive because greenhouse gases have gone up and they're not going down again anytime soon but that could be negative. If the ratio between delta f and f bar delta t on between the change in flow and the average flow multiplied by the length of a time interval is this rate then this will average to zero. The only way we could do that is to make the average energy flow due to extra greenhouse gases zero which means getting greenhouse gas concentrations back to pre-industrial levels. That would be hard
