In the early 20th century, as we start to see the emergence of the specialties in the sciences, the life sciences, and in medical practice, that will go on to create the medical regimes that among other things encompass trans people. In any ways, you know, this is an explicitly racialized discourse. It is for like everything. But all of that really basically means that as science and medicine are gaining greater technical access to influencing how sex grows over the course of the lifespan,. they're gaining the technical means first through plastic surgeries and later through synthesizing organic and then synthetic kinds of hormone compounds.
