Innovation and Invention

Inventor is mainly an innovator because he's not necessarily coming up with original ideas. He's taking other people's ideas and turning them into practical propositions. I like to tell the story which charles towns used to tell, of a rabbit and a beaver looking at the hoover dam. Of that is how inventors quite often think about innovation. It's a huge amount of work and talent to turn an idea into something practical. This is something that you learn in silkan valley very early on, that ideas are a dim a dozen. Even a lot of the old ideas that failed weren' italy bad ideas. They were just the wrong time....
