Shadiidy writing, they didn't explain it. And there was a couple of times, like, within the thing, were like, they called her a lizard. But then it started making more sense when, like, she started acting like a bird, and like, the guy started acting like one too. The random insults that got slung at her about being a lizard didn't make a lot of sense to me, but i looked past it, as we normally do in fantasy novels.
