The Flood Plains and the Beaver Dams - What Happened to the Elk?
The elk had been herding along the flood plains at the edge of the river. The wolfe tarted to hunt them right on the flood plains. Immediately picked off a couple of calves and some of the elderly. But what also sorted to happened was along the banks of the river, the poplars and the aspens began to grow. That had been grazed. Also, the grounds o very soft wood, and the elk its one of their favorite kind of grazing foods. So these poplars sprung up really quickly and along the river banks. And they say the course of the rivers was modified slightly, but you can see a difference in the rivers over that
