Women's Right to Vote

After the war, around eight million women got the right to vote thanks to an act called the representation of the people act. By 19 28, everyone else in britain was also granted the right to cast a ballot. Yet for te first ten years, the people act required voters, female voters specifically, to own property. But i tisans did not require men to own property and it wasn't until  19 28 that these requirements were done away with.
