Base camp should be a place that encourages people to write long form thoughts, ideas. The idea we came up with was like buttons. We chose to call it claps, that you clap for something, right? A plause. And i think it worked really well in that and similar circumstances,. Like when nora now would post along form, like you'd have dozens of people just go like, ye, that's really cool. It let noa know that someone had read it and they appreciated his work. But there were a lot of other ways that applause got usedt within bas camp that we had much less favorable assessment of.
