Awey: The naming convention for girls usually was that they would have the female version of their father's name. If he'd had more than one daughter, they would probably both have been julia. Awey: They kind of created a problem for themselves, which they had to solve with various nicknames. And i think it speaks to the importance of the natal family and the father for the romans.
