CHAPTER

The Beauty of Form

The book wasn't a an attack on free verse it was merely that I think we don't treasure enough the beauty of form well I want to learn I want to go into it more. Thomas is an example of this of but really complex form called the Villanelle and one of his most famous poems do not go gentle into this night is a Villanelle. It's a very intricate and clever pattern extraordinary pattern but you shouldn't be aware of it any more than you have to know when listening to the moonlight what a sonata is.
