The Republican Health Care Bill on Medicaid

The Republican health care bill would freeze Medicaid expansion enrollment for three years through January 1st, 2020. The other side of it is a change to the entire Medicaid program where they would like to convert it to a per capita cap system. If you're on Medicaid, the federal government pays a certain percent of your bills. It doesn't matter if your bills are $1,000, $10,000, a million. You can get these really cheap kids on. Nice. So this I think brings us, there's another piece of this, particularly for poor folks who were not on the tax credit subsidies or what were being covered by Medicaid.
